Helping "You" Improve Care At End-of-Life!
Welcome to the Resource Enrichment Center (REC) for Improving Care at
End-of-Life! This online resource is supported by a grant from the
Project on
Death in America of the
Open Society Institute in an effort to
develop a continuum of education on care for terminally ill patients and members
of their support networks. Our goals are (1) to create access to end-of-life
care training and education, an online reference
library, links to
government documents including
policies and legislation; (2) to
disseminate social and health
services information to the general public;
(3) to help you improve care at end-of-life!
The Resource Enrichment Center (REC) at the
University of
Connecticut School of Social Work is interactive and allows for the
electronic posting of questions and answers that can be viewed privately or
collectively. A community of
Social Work Leaders in the field will be available to share their
expertise in responding to the needs of the dying and bereaved through the web
site. To learn more about palliative and end-of-life care, you can follow the
links below. To find local and state service providers, use the agency locator.
To learn more about national and international end-of-life resources, please use
the NI locator. You may also contact a Resource Enrichment Center Staff through
email or telephone: 860-570-9025.
